Loyal supporters of the pop star are calling for that a person who leaped a barrier and touched the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A viral footage depicts the Australian man bypassing media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the actors proceeded down a yellow carpet flanked by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was seen being escorted out of the event by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "released after being detained", though court documents indicated that he was scheduled to attend court on the next day. It is not clear if he was formally accused.

Record of Event Invasions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account includes clips of him disturbing other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at the artist's Sydney show in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last winter.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is clearly a punishable act," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" another Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Show Disapproval Over the Star's Past Trauma

Numerous fans blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her spring 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring many.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" said one more response on Instagram.

A number of fans also faulted event staff at the gathering for not being vigilant enough; while some requested social media platforms to block Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande appeared startled when she was grabbed by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.

Hundreds of Singapore attendees had queued up to meet the actors of Wicked

Many of supporters had gathered in a sea of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore mall, including a number who had queued for as long as many hours before it commenced.

The film, to be launched on the 21st of November, is the sequel of a dual interpretation of the acclaimed Broadway and West End production Wicked, which revolves around the surprising bond between two distinct witches.

The show itself is a spin-off of the classic children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was dressed in a light pink sparkling outfit at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the Elphaba, wore a black tube gown featuring roses.

They were alongside co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the top-earning motion picture of 2024 in the UK, and scored a dozen Academy Award nods, winning several for outstanding attire and production design.
