Outrage as Popular South African DJ Gunned Down in the Heart of Johannesburg.

A prominent South African radio and club DJ has been shot dead in the nation's economic hub Johannesburg, sending shockwaves across a country battling entrenched crime.

Warrick Stock, widely recognized as DJ Warras, was gunned down in the city centre on Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities reported the forty-year-old entertainer was approached by three individuals, one of whom opened fire on him before fleeing on foot.

The DJ sought to escape after he was wounded but collapsed across the street.
