The Serious Allegations Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of numerous sexual offences – comprising some against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 to 2021. One deputy chief prosecutor stated, “Legal teams have worked at length to assist a thorough and intricate police inquiry, carefully reviewing the evidence to determine that there is a strong case to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.” Scope of the Investigation These allegations come after what investigators called a “complex investigation” into reported sexual offences at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and Russells Hall hospital. The defendant is scheduled to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th. List of Charges The charging documents said the forty-five sexual offences comprise: 15 counts of assault. Seventeen counts of assault by penetration. 9 counts of assault on a minor under thirteen. Three counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen. 1 count of attempted penetrative assault. Police are urging individuals with information to contact the investigating team.
